Nomu started with a simple observation: most travel mugs on the market are purely functional - built to hold your coffee, nothing more. No thought, no design, no personality. We wanted something different.

We set out to build a mug that's as much about how it looks and feels as what it does. Something you'd actually want to be seen with - in your hand, in the cupholder, on your desk. Not hidden away in a bag.

The name Nomu comes from the Japanese word for "to drink" - a reminder that even the simplest habits deserve to be made with intention. That's exactly the feeling we wanted to create when we started building Nomu.

Nomu is a Swedish-founded brand, built on the idea that everyday objects - the ones you touch and use daily - deserve the same care as
anything else you choose to surround yourself with.
